WebAssembly, or Wasm, is a stack-based virtual machine that runs on existing browser engines. It is a cross-platform binary portable target for language compilers. Web developers use Wasm to build high-performance single-page applications (SPAs) without relying on javascript and/or other front-end frameworks.
