Rising majestically atop a lone hill stands the ancient Red Oak Tree with dForce Leaves.
This noble species features a gnarled morphing trunk with 4 Iray bark materials, 2 sets of branches for thicker or thinner trees, and 10 separate leaf groupings, each of which can be shown or hidden individually. 10 leaf materials can be applied to any leaf group in any combination, creating a virtually unlimited number of tree shape and color possibilities!
To this, you can add any of 4 separate dForce leaf sets, with another 30 individual leaf materials, for even more variety. Two of these dForce leaf groupings nestle in among the tree's branches for naturally falling autumn foliage, while a third group consists of a flat circular cluster of 646 leaves designed for use as ground clutter to cover any shape of terrain or prop objects.
Last but not least is a preset stack of 3584 leaves for easily creating a nice pile of raked-up leaves which conform to any landscape surface, just perfect for jumping into!
From the mighty oak tree branches hangs an old rope swing, which is rigged for swinging high or low, with a tilting seat and adjustable height to fit any rambunctious kid.
To make your scene creation even easier, two hill terrains are included, with spring and fall materials. The large hill features a height morph for adding steep slopes or low rolling hills to your landscape.
Finally, as an added bonus, an array of scene filler objects are included, among which are individual dForce Leaf and Branchlet props, a Morphing Mushroom, Mossy Maze Shelf Mushroom, a Morphing Boulder, and a cluster of wild Wood Melick, with four separate stem and leaf blade components to fit in around your trees and rocks.
Simulation settings are included that should work in most instances, but adjusting the Friction, Collision Offset, and/or Velocity Smoothing will produce different results, so feel free to experiment. Also, be sure to add a few extra minutes to the Stabilization Time to let the leaves settle. In addition, a bit of Wind Force will help to swirl your leaves around for more dynamic images.
So fill your hills with majestic wonder and watch the autumn leaves fly today!
