Meet Boston my newest Genesis 9 character for DAZ Studio. She s a bit taller than most of my characters and may resemble someone you know. That was the intent. I wanted her to represent a realistic character who could be your Aunt Marge or the lady next door or your boss at the office. She s comes with multiple base body shapes and a bevy of weight options and breast sizes. You also comes equipped with a neat breast-cancelation morph that only affects her auto-conformed clothing. The problem with large breasts is that they distort the clothing on the figures to such a degree that it s impossible to correct so I invented a neat little morph trick that turns off the breast shape for the base figure s shape. Why do that? From a zero point it s easier to morph clothing to fit over her breasts. It s the roll-over issue that causes the problem and by that I mean when the clothing tucks up under her breasts. So this magic morph option untucks the clothing and returns it to a zero position (her body shape minus breasts). There is also a morph to turn off her breast shapes in case you need to do that as well. She also has separate head and body morphs (as always) and comes with a vagina ON/OFF option.

The figure (G9F) body shaping morphs will appear in your G9 BODY parameters list here:

The shaping presets will be found in: PRESETS > SHAPING > HEVIESTATE3D > BOSTON BBW

When you open DAZ Studio, load your Genesis 9 base figure. Select the figure and then load the BOSTON DEFAULT preset from the shaping presets library file. You do not need to load the female morphs to your Genesis 9. BOSTON is already set with feminine base shape.

I suggest setting the figure RESOLUTION LEVEL to HIGH RESOLUTION. Then set the RENDER SUBD LEVEL to at least 3. Level 4 or higher will start to show issues with the nipple displacement maps but you don t have to use those if you want to render at higher resolution. The higher the setting the more detail the displacement maps will become so they start to get a little weird with levels 4-5. Again, just turn off displacement if you want to render higher levels. Genesis 9 has nipple morphs on her higher levels anyway (by default) so the maps were created only to be able to have nipples at lower levels. Using them in conjunction with HD morphs however can create some interesting effects. I find that using a balance between displacement and HD morphs provides the best results. You can adjust the displacement by going to the SURFACES pane, selecting G9 then her surfaces and her BODY. Scroll to the bottom and you ll find a DISPLACEMENT block. The default setting (with my map applied) is 1. If you want less effect, simply adjust that number down to 0.5 for 50% and so forth. Zero it to turn it completely off.

Installation must be for the Genesis 9 BASE. Installation in the wrong file will result in the morphs not appearing in the parameters or not working properly. Do not custom install. Install directly to the files provided in the download.

Package must be installed manually by user. There is no auto-installation option or function. See installation instructions for directions. If you have never installed manually before, refer to PDF included in this product's zip (compressed) file for help.

This morph affects only clothing that is auto-conformed to Boston and allows user to turn off the breasts auto-conforming feature which smoothes the chest and allows the user to create a more effective morph for the garment.
