Description: Femap is a CAD-independent pre- and post-processor from Siemens PLM Software for performing Finite Element Analysis (FEA) engineering analysis. This means that Femap is the link between the user and the solver - the core that performs calculations in engineering analysis problems. Femap, integrated with the NX Nastran solver, is a Microsoft Windows-based, part of the Velocity Series product line, and is an independent full-featured environment for modeling, simulating, and evaluating product analysis results.
The Femap system based on the NX Nastran solver allows you to: analyze the dynamics and strength of structures, machines and structures, obtain a solution to non-stationary nonlinear spatial problems, problems of the mechanics of composites and composite structures, structural and technological mechanics, analyze heat transfer, obtain a solution to problems of fluid and gas mechanics related multidisciplinary tasks.
Femap base modules with NX Nastran allow you to perform basic types of engineering analysis, such as linear static analysis, analysis of frequencies and forms of free vibrations, analysis of buckling of structures, analysis of stationary and non-stationary heat transfer problems, basic nonlinear analysis capabilities.
