Inspired by vintage tape splicing techniques, Replicas samples incoming signals, rephrases, delays and pitch shifts the recorded material. With it, you can craft intricate melodic patterns, add extreme time-based effects or augment existing phrases with subtle nuances.
Add ambiences to guitar and piano phrases, glitch-wreck your beats or create repeating stutter effects to vocals. Most of all, Replicas is for experimentation. It can be pleasantly unpredictable and you never know what you might get!
Replicas Controls & Quick Start
SPEED 1, 2, 3 - Playback speed (in semitones)
DURATION 1, 2, 3 - Splice length
RANDOM - Rate of random speed (zero to disable)
REC - Start/Stop recording
SELF/SYNC - Enable Replicas only while transport is playing
DURATION SELECT - Choose which splice
DURATION controls
XFADE - Crossfade time for splice loop
TIME/FEEDBACK - Length of delay and repeat decay
MIX - Blend input and looped signal
