Solid Edge is the most full-featured hybrid 2D / 3D CAD system that uses synchronous technology to accelerate design and editing process, as well as enhanced support for reusing imported geometry. Convergent Modeling, the first technology of its kind, will help engineers optimize part design for 3D printing, speed up the overall design process and make reverse engineering a far more common and efficient practice in product design.
