This Indie version can work in any path where you extract it. Ready to run.
(Only Steam files replaced, Houdini files are untouched original.)

Just run "Houdini Indie\bin\hindie.steam.exe" (create a shortcut / pin to Start Menu)

Block it on firewall just in case

Why use Indie version?

– You don't need 'sesinetd' license server.
– You don't need 'hkey' license administrator.
– You can have and run multiple versions of Houdini INDIE

If it's your first time using Houdini 20.5 make sure you create the folders below before running it.

"C:\Users\YourUser\Documents\houdini20.5"
and
"C:\Users\YourUser\Documents\houdini20.5\otls" – if you want to use HDA files.
